Affiliate Disclosure

I am an Affiliate with Amazon, AliExpress and eBay as well as other ecommerce portals. You should assume that I may earn a small fee if you make any purchase by clicking a link on this site. This is at no additional cost to you as a buyer: the affiliate is paid by the seller to the portal for advertising their products.

What exactly does this mean?

Basically, I do product reviews and recommendations as a way to add a small stream of income to my life.

Any time you click on a link, you’ll be taken to Amazon or eBay or another website where you will be able to purchase the item you clicked on.  The price you pay is the exact same price everyone else pays: the only difference is that on the back end, I receive the affiliate commission that otherwise would have gone to a different promoter if you had reached the site through their affiliate link instead.

The affiliate payment is the amount that the seller has agreed to pay to the site for advertising his products and getting the word out to the interwebs that the product is available on that site.

Amazon, eBay, AliExpress, etc., all have very active affiliate programs. In fact, pretty much anything you buy after clicking a link from another site to go to the actual purchase site is most likely to be an affiliate link – you’ve been buying from affiliate links almost as long as the World Wide Web has existed: ecommerce is the backbone of the web!
